Elliot Landy - Woodstock Photographer

Elliot Landy was one of those photographers that ran around the music scene taking photos subconsciously. Not aware of his intentions, his photos captured some the greatest moment in musics history.

The Band

And you thought the monkey bars were just for kids!

Ezra Miller - The Tribeca Kid!

Ezra Miller, at 18 years old, isn't one of those "it boy" actors dancing and prancing around the bubblicious made for TV movie high school dramas, no offense Zac Efron; but your speech at the People Choice Awards was anything short of serious. No, Ezra is just the opposite of that - He IS a serious actor.. and one with talent! One of his first rolls was in the highly captivating movie Afterschool by director Antonio Campos (Byrdie Bell has a split second roll in the movie-she gets choked.. yikes!). Now, Ezra is in a new movie by the guys from Nip/Tuck called Everyday. In Everyday, he plays a gay son going through high school and all the trials and alllll the tribulations of being gay. A must see film! Oh, and that woman from that show Mad About You is in it too- Helen Hunt.

Did we mention he dates Zoe Kravitz? Better watch out Lenny! Also, the literal meaning of Ezra is "to help" in Hebrew. On that note, LeCHEIM!

Everyday opens tonight at the Beekman Theater. 1721 2nd Avenue. You can view After School on Netflix Instant Play.

Butt Johnson- Showing Tonight at CRG Gallery

Remember when you used to scribble little love letters in math class? Those hearts and flowers you used to engrave into your notebook with a ball-point pen are nothing compared to the work Butt Johnson does with a simple Bic pen. Just one of Johnsons pieces can take up to three years to complete and it shows! Johnsons first solo show, The Name of The Rose opens tonight- January 14th, 2011 at CRG Gallery from 6-8pm. 548 West 22nd Street. On view until February 19th.

Junior Boys-The Equalizer

My all time favorite jam. A classic! Like your Dads Beatles collection. No touchy! Junior Boys have been around for some time now, but their music is a staple for any playlist... Maybe for that special night.. Wink... Wink.. It doesn't hurt that these Canadians have mad sex appeal.

Diane Arbus - Now at NY MoMA

After a recent visit to the NY MoMA, I discovered how wonderfully freakishly Diane Arbus is able to capture her subjects. Look at their faces, they live for the camera! That little boy with the grenade in his hand creeps the hell out of me. Then again, that is the whole point of Arbus' work. She lived for the outcasts and rebels of society.

Diane Arbus is currently showing as part of the "Pictures by Women: A History of Modern Photography" exhibition at the NY MoMA through April 4th, 2011.

As my best friend would say: "Go get some culture in you!"
